Down That Road is Suzanne Petersens latest EP - four original blues and roots songs, grungier than her previous releases, less edited, less produced, and sounding more live. The title track is a nostalgic ballad, At Night brings a rock song with a blues feel, Another Night carries a cool groove especially in the chorus, and I Took the Subway Back was inspired by Suzannes first visit to New York. Recorded at David Allardice studio in Melbourne with Suzanne on grand piano, Gary Norman on guitar, Neil Jowsey on double bass, and Greg Appleton on drums. Suzanne Petersen has released her fourth album called Our Street.

Following up from my last two successful albums “I Foresaw This Trouble” and “So Many Nights” I am really excited to let you know about the new one “Our Street”. The band are the best musicians I could find to showcase my songs. So it’s the same line up, Suzanne & the Top Shelf.

The album has 10 original songs in the blues genre. It’s kinda laid back but still grooves along. A trip to Nashville inspired the single, track 5 Goodbye to Nashville with Gary Normans beautiful bluesy boss effects on his Gibson 335. Best thing I Got (from you was the blues) is a swing blues track. Life Without You is a slow classic piano blues ballad. Lonely Street rocks along and a Gospel track Travellin’ Light, plus a couple of heart felt rock pop songs
